Penelope shined during her service in Washington Hebrew Congregation's chapel. I love shooting B'nei Mitzvahs in this chapel because it's an intimate space that allows me to be closer to the action on the bima. The ark also features beautiful gold metalwork and stained glass, which makes for a lovely background. After the service, we did a quick portrait session and headed to Penelope's house for a party. Her mom, Sabrina, did an amazing job with the decor and catering. The cake was so gorgeous - I couldn't stop taking pictures of it! Mazel tov Penelope and family!
