The first time I met Natalie's family was for a fall portrait session in Rock Creek Park. Her mom, Lauren, must have liked the pictures, because soon after she hired me to photograph Natalie's Bat Mitzvah. Unfortunately, the party had to be rescheduled due to Covid (thanks a lot, winter Omicron outbreak...), and I was only able to shoot the portrait session at Congregation Olam Tikvah in Fairfax. It was a very leisurely shoot, which is my favorite kind because everyone is relaxed, and I get more time to play with lighting and poses. Natalie and her brother were also great subjects and loved posing for the camera! I'm looking forward to my next shoot with this sweet family.
