It doesn't get much better than a Bar Mitzvah party on a boat, cruising by monuments on the Potomac! I was so excited when Ethan's parents told me about the day they planned: A low-key service in Washington Hebrew Congregation's chapel (my favorite), followed by a quick portrait session and a 4-hour sunset cruise, complete with a caricature artist, dinner, dancing, and all of Ethan's favorite games.
